Confirmation is a nine-month program for eighth graders. We use the mentor-based curriculum called Making Disciples in addition to requiring active participation in the ongoing life of the church family, a retreat and monthly youth group.
Children are an important part of our life together. The children begin worship service with their parents. Following the Children's message (approx. 9:55 am) students go to the classrooms for a Sunday School lesson until approximately 10:40 am. (September-May). Nursery care is available for the youngest children.
We also offer a week of Vacation Bible School in the summer and invite children in the area to join us. We strive to be a community that cares for and welcomes all ages, as we embody the belief that each person is a child of God.
Sunday school classes follow a lectionary-based curriculum which ties together scripture in class with that of the Sunday worship experience.
